2018 Annual Conference in Las Vegas, NV


Conference theme: School Mental Health - A Sure Bet for Student Success!  

October 11th-13th, 2018

Red Rock Casino, Resort, and Spa, 11011 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89135

Hosted by the National Center for School Mental Health (funded in part by the Health Resources and Services Administration) and the National Community of Practice on Collaborative School Behavioral Health

The annual conference offered speakers and participants the opportunity to advance knowledge and skills related to school mental health practice, research, training, and policy. The conference featured nine specialty tracks, including six practice group topics, as well as the three tiers of mental health services. The conference emphasized a shared school-family-community agenda to bring high quality and evidence-based mental health promotion, prevention, and intervention to students and families. Approximately 1,200 people attended the conference including clinicians, educators, administrators, youth and family members, researchers, primary care providers, advocates, and other youth-serving professionals.
